A longtime Maryland softball coach is behind bars after being arrested on child sex abuse charges, authorities announced.
Detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department’s Crimes Against Children Unit arrested 59-year-old Michael J. Pusateri on a warrant charging him with rape, assault, sex abuse of a minor, and soliciting child pornography, officials said Tuesday, Sept. 9.
Pusateri, of Baltimore County, has an extensive background in coaching, officials said.

Suspicious, Scheming Thief Busted For Scamming Residents In Baltimore County, Police Say
A 26-year-old thief was busted for scamming residents throughout Baltimore County, police said.
Alex Rich was arrested on multiple open warrants relating to theft schemes on Friday, March 15, the BCPD announced this week.
Rich was being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
Suspicious activity and individuals can be reported to 911, the BCPD said, adding that residents should try to take note of license tag numbers, vehicle descriptions, or suspect descriptions without putting themselves at risk.

Police in Baltimore County have apprehended a suspicious suspect who has been targeting women over the past week, according to authorities.
Charles Wattles, 39, is being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center after a series of incidents that were reported in Cockeysville and Towson.
