A Lancaster County man is accused of punching a child multiple times in the face and head at a park in Adamstown, Ephrata Police announced on Sunday, May 17.
Ruben Lugo, 36, of Adamstown, was arrested following the assault investigation at Adamstown Park, located at 208 W. Main St., according to Ephrata Police.
Officers were called to the park at 5:59 p.m. on Sunday, May 4, for a reported assault on a juvenile, police said.
Investigators determined Lugo struck the child with a closed fist three or more times in the face and head area, causing swelling and redness, according to police.
